Scholarships
Post middle school education is rare in Guatemala, especially in rural indigenous communities. In Santa María Tzejá, graduating middle school students that seek to continue on to high school must leave the community and travel to Coban, Guatemala, over five hours away.
Partners for Guatemala Education provides scholarship support to a limited number of scholarship recipients from Santa María Tzejá to enable them to enroll in high school.
