Computer Center

Knowledge of computers and how to use the internet have become basic skills necessary to excel in today’s world. Recognizing this need, the community of Santa María Tzejá operates a computer center to provide computer training to students. Students enrolled in the computer center learn computer basics, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as basic computer programming. Students also learn about the internet and internet literacy, learning about disinformation and how it can spread across the internet.

Partners for Guatemala Education provides support for the computer center, so that students are able to obtain these vital skills.
